Benefiting from the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act
As an Individual
From investments in city infrastructure to improvements in the City's environment, ARRA will have a number of benefits for St. Louis residents. Many direct benefits for most residents will come through tax relief.

The City of St. Louis has compiled a list of funded programs available for our residents. You can view most recent list and the agency that handles these types of funds - these agencies will determine if you qualify.
As a Business
Many types of St. Louis businesses can benefit from ARRA in a variety of ways, including direct benefits and tax relief.
- Design and construction firms can benefit with additional opportunities for work. To find out about bids for all of the City’s design/construction work, including projects funded through ARRA, monitor the City of St. Louis Request for Proposals (“RFPs”) and Request for Qualifications (“RFQs”) webpage.
- To find out about the tax relief provisions in the bill, read a full summary of tax provisions issued by the Senate Finance and House Ways & Means Committees.
Increases in federal appropriations for research and development are also expected. As summaries of these opportunities are developed, the City will make every effort to post them on this webpage.
